Jordan Busby is the Assistant Principal of Madison High School. He has been in the education field for 18 years. He is also on the Rexburg City Council.
Mr. Busby began his career in the education field in 1994, teaching sixth grade in Idaho Falls. He then taught for one year in Lewiston, Idaho. Finally he moved to Madison County where he has been a Principal for ten years at various Madison schools. He has recently been moved to Madison High where he is an assistant principal. Mr. Busby has a goal that he tries to meet every year. He learns every child’s name by October 15th or the students get a pizza party. Mr. Busby also says, “Every single day I get to affect the future 382 times a day.”
Mr. Busby received his Bachelor’s Degree from Lewis Clark State College. He received his Master’s Degree and his Education Specialist Degree from Idaho State University. Mr. Busby and his wife Melanie met at Rick’s College and now have six children.
Mr. Busby enjoys tinkering, bartering, wheeling and dealing (as in auctions), oddities (such as one of a kind items), woodworking, demolition, construction, and machinery.
